1870 Photograph of the Cross
Inscription on reverse reads:
"Geddington Cross - taken about 1870. J W Clipston, Yew Cottage, Geddington.
Ellen Lee, my Mother, helped in the shop when John Collier owned it. This picture was taken before the Cross was repaired in 1894.
The Girls in the Star doorway are Mr Croot's (Snr) who owned the Star at that time."
