1950s Arnold's shop

Adjacent to the forge the shop was owned by the Arnold family from 1949 - 1959. Mrs Kath Arnold ran the shop. The grandparents lived in the cottage attached at the rear. Mr Arnold was quite an entrepreneur; buying old lavatory fittings from the camp at Boughton as piped water came to homes in Geddington.
