The hut is the old British Legion hut. It was situated (approximately) near the current entrance to Castle Gardens.
I thought that hut was the scout hut in the cricket field Kettering Rd. The woman in black Is nurse Rumbold & the little girl is Elizabeth Shaw.
Taking their cue from the Festival of Britain, Geddington had their own Festival of Geddington Exhibition. It took place in the old British Legion hut in August 1951
