Mabel Moore (my grandmother) is at the extreme right and I’m pretty sure despite the picture being so badly washed out that the girl in ankle socks, 6th from the left of the main group, is my mother – Ione Moore.
2nd & 3rd from the right are Mrs Chapman (lived up West St just past Hopkins Jitty) & Nurse Rumbold (brought me into the world & also most of the village kids 10 years either side of my age (80). She lived in the cottages behind the group next to Swingler’s bakehouse. Both were Sunday school teachers at the chapel. The rest you can’t make out.
Thank you David, so good to have identities of former residents – brings photos to life for many.
