That photo was taken about 1949 in the senior school as I remember that radiogram turning up and I think that is Robert Weekly 2nd from right. We thought it was fab listening to the schools broadcasting service on it. I also think my sister is in the front row, she was born 1944.
The wonderful picture of Miss Allen with the radiogram is a beautiful composed image and I love it. However was this taken in 1932, one child in the picture looked like I did aged 5years in 1955. The clothing looks like post war 1955 with all the children looking healthy and happy. Miss Allen was my first teacher and I loved being taught by her. At the time we lived in Wood Road (now Wood Street) and it was just a short walk to school.
