The Geddington Brickyard Garden
raises more than seedlings!

The latest fund raiser, a quiz held at The Star Inn, raised a very useful £120 to further their plans.

Organiser Lynette has a word (or two) of thanks for those who helped raise this sum:

“THANK YOU! Thank you! Thank you!
… to all who supported our fundraising Pub Quiz at The Star on Tuesday. It was a  hugely enjoyable evening and we raised a whopping £120, which is so helpful for our on-going plans.

Good news too, we’ve just heard that our application to County Councillor Jim Harker’s NCC Endowment Fund has been successful and a cheque for £1000 is expected in the next few weeks. GBG’s future looks promising!

What we REALLY NEED now is for loads of you good people to turn up for our GBG Volunteer sessions next weekend, Sat 11/Sun 12 April 10am-1pm (any time) to ensure that GBG can offer a welcoming, inspiring space for our local community. If we can’t ‘bring off’ this project, and get our community involved, GBG is dead in the water. It’s as simple as that.

Ref: Launch Day Sunday 19 April

ALL welcome to come to our  GBG Final Planning Meeting on Wednesday 15 April, 7.30pm at The Star even if it’s only to pop in and ‘sign up’ to helping to set up on Launch Day (from 8am), ‘stewarding’ during the Day (2-5pm) or helping to tidy away (post 5pm). If you can’t make the meeting, just email with any time you can offer.  Your support would be hugely welcome.”
