The WI was the charity for The Star Charity Quiz last night, and 15 teams with 88 people were quizzing away. It was a busy night, with everyone eyeing up the prestigious trophy which, if won, could provide the triumphant team with 10 minutes of fame.
This week, the winning team was Geddington Goers with 89 points. Second, with 88 points, was Motley Crue. There was a three-way tie for third place on 87 points between Queen Street Runners, Stoity Twange, and NFN.
The next quiz is on Tuesday 5th May and is in aid of the Friends of the Church. This charity raises money for the fabric of the church so that future generations can continue to enjoy the many occasions that we do today, such as weddings and christenings.
