There is an old Geddington saying: “Too many quizzers spoil the broth of success.” Coupled with the adrenaline of being new grandparents, Queen Street Runners were a runaway success.
The charity was Kettering Under-12s Football, raising money for new away team shirts. The raffle was excellent, the leaflet (thank you, Jack) was informative, and the footballing example of Edward was inspiring! (Oh, I think that was me…). Consequently, we raised £255.30 (including donations).
The winners were Queen Street Runners with 91 points. Second place went to NFN with 90 points, and third was The Topical Team with 87 points. BBFJ came fourth with 85 points – time for some more winter camp training, BBFJ!
