Winners galore! Well, almost!

Eight brilliant minds cracked all the clues in this year’s cryptic quiz. But with only three prizes available, names were drawn from the proverbial hat — right in front of a facinated Knitting Club audience!

And the lucky winners are:

A big thank you to everyone who took part in this, the second recycled quiz from Archimedes’ library of 23 cryptic quizzes. Another quiz is planned for later this year, just in time for Christmas.

The Charity is also extremely grateful to The Geddington Sports Club for its generous sponsorship of the three prizes and The Kettering Buccleuch Academy for all the printing. Thanks also go to The Café Oak and The Star Inn for help in selling the quizzes. And finally, our thanks go to our treasurer, Anne Clay, for all her work in producing this quiz. Her only sadness is that she can no longer take part in it, normally with good results!
