Introducing the New Geddington.net Website Design
We’re excited to present our redesigned Geddington.net website! With a brand-new responsive design, we’ve revamped the online experience to better serve both our cherished villagers and visitors seeking to explore our community.
Our motivation for this redesign was rooted in ensuring that everyone could effortlessly access and enjoy the wealth of information our website has to offer. The old website design, last updated in 2013, posed a significant hurdle when it came to usability on mobile devices. These days, more than half our visitors are on mobile, so it makes sense to update the design to suit.
What’s here and what’s missing?
This is very much a work in progress and there’s still a lot to do. So far, we have managed to transfer all the archives, photos and events that were on the old site, but you may notice that we’re presently lacking the news section. This is coming in phase 2, along with an archive of over 600 news articles.
