The Geddington, Newton & Little Oakley Local History Society invites everyone to step back in time and join them for a traditional VE Day street party on Monday 5th May, marking 80 years since the original celebrations took place all across the UK.

To be held on Bridge Street from 12pm to 3pm, this nostalgic event will recreate the community spirit of 1945, complete with period music, bunting, and rows of tables for a classic street party atmosphere.

What to bring:

• Your own food and drink
• Chairs for you and your group
• A bit of wartime style, if you fancy dressing the part!
