The Star Charity Quiz was held last night in aid of PAS (Protection Against Stalking). Bernice gave a moving talk about the dangers of stalking and how people can get help. A total of £250 was raised for her campaign.
Thirteen teams battled it out for the top prize of five minutes with The Star Trophy.
This time it was Carol and Co, with 89 points, who were sparkling in their knowledge! Second was NFN with 87 points, and Geddington Goers were third with 86. Stoity Twange were fourth with 85 points, and Loose Women were fifth with 84.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the evening, especially for the splendid raffle, to John Hobbs for the Music Round, and to Emma and her team for keeping the bar running smoothly.
The next quiz is on Tuesday 2nd June and is in aid of the Kettering Civic Society. Please book your quiz team, along with table and player numbers, to avoid becoming distraught on the night!
