First of all, an apology to Motley Crue! I ACTUALLY got a question wrong!! Would you believe it?!
Abbotsinch was indeed an RAF station before it became Glasgow Airport. Many apologies, and I adjusted the scores accordingly. Motley Crue moved up to joint 9th place instead of 10th.
The Friends of the Church were the charity that evening, and we raised £234!
Two teams, NFN and Quizzer Sisters, tied for first place with 82½ points and vied for the tie-breaker question: “How long is King Charles III’s England Coast Path?” The answer was 2,700 miles. NFN were the nearest with 2,883 miles and were therefore the winners!

Quizzer Sisters took second place, and third was The Topical Team with 81 points. Fourth place was shared by BBJS and Stoity Twange with 79 points.
The next quiz is on Tuesday 19th May and is in aid of PAS (Protection Against Stalking). Please do book your teams and numbers. Last year, we raised an incredible amount of money for such a worthy cause.
