he ladies from the village and surrounding areas have been turning their attention to the protection of those well loved garden visitors –the hedgehogs. Sadly their numbers continue to decrease but Caroline Lee has a rescue centre set up on Queen Street which we can all support.
Members brought greetings cards to sell which were delightful and raised a good amount for food, bedding and veterinary care, We were all reminded that our old newspapers are invlaluable to the centre so don’t bin them, drop them off to Caroline – shredded is even better!
