Thank you very much to Sarah Trainor who stepped in as Quizmaster last night. Whilst trekking in the Atlas mountains with Gordon, I caught a cold resulting in copious nose bleeds. But all was not lost, thanks to the intrepid Sarah!!
And boy, there were a lot of people!! 95 Quizzers and 15 teams. Some had booked over the phone (correctly) and got missed out. Some just turned up . Apologies to you all, I’m sure we will get our act together for the next Quiz. Or not.
£317 was raised for Kettering Lions which was a marvellous and well deserved amount with their huge raffle.
The winners were Geddington Goers with 81 points and second equal The Topical team and Queen Street Runners with 80 points. 4th was NFN with 76 points and 5th was BBJ with 75 points.
The next Quiz is on Tuesday and is in aid of The Brickyard Garden This is vital fund-raising for a charity which almost closed down last year, so do support them well.
