The Last Quiz Of The Year! And what a year we’ve had!
We asked the quizzers how much they thought we had raised throughout the year and the team who guessed nearest was Queen Street Runners. It turns out we raised an amazing £5175.31 for 23 different charities! This last quiz was for Cransley Hospice and raised £272.76.
Confusion reigned when several teams brought their own food ( The Topical Team brought a cornucopia of culinary delights) . Thinking everyone had brought food, the nibbles were withdrawn!! Apologies to all who were disappointed, GADS in particular, but I’m sure it won’t happen again.
The winners were a tie break with 84 points between Geddington Goers and The Topical Team. The question was ,’What is the population of Finland?’ And the winning team, The Topical Team guessed 7 million. The answer was 5.5 million.

Thank you to Emma and Marcie, behind the bar. They are so hard working and look after me with the headphones thingy.
