What a magnificent show it was last night to watch BBJS do a master class in winning the elusive trophy. It was magical to see the Vicar inserted into their team. It reminded me so much of Maradona and the Hand Of God.
BBJS won superbly with 81 points, Geddington Goers were second with 80 points and The Quizzer Sisters third with 78. Stoity Twange were 4th with 77.
The wonderful raflle which was organised by The Rainbow Children’s Hospice, with Quiz money raised £306.00.
The next Quiz is on Tuesday 28th July and is in aid of The Hedgehog Fund. Expect another excellent raffle so book your team and numbers at The Star, it will be busy.
I’m sorry but I can’t maintain the over the top praise for BBJS just because one of my best friends has a confidence issue. Henceforth I shall treat them normally and with the usual sarcasm.
