Last night, at The Star Charity Quiz, we raised £204 for the Kettering Civic Society. The money will go towards maintaining the flowerbeds at Kettering Railway Station.
I really appreciated receiving a note of thanks and some chocolates from them.
Twelve teams took part, including a new team, The Newbies, who were welcomed into the fold. I do hope they enjoyed themselves.
Queen Street Runners were absolutely on fire last night! They led the way from beginning to end, finishing as winners with 94 points. Second were The Quizzer Sisters with 84 points, and third was BBJS with 82.
The next quiz is on Tuesday 16th June and is in aid of Geddington Amateur Dramatics Society. This long-established group has been entertaining the village for over half a century!
Let’s hope we raise a good amount of money to help them keep going. Please book your team and numbers for next time to avoid disappointment and sorrow.
