Free AED Training: Could you save a life?

FREE two-hour Basic Life Support and AED training session

As part of the WI’s national resolution supporting the ‘Bystanders Can Be Lifesavers’ initiative, Geddington & Newton WI has arranged a fantastic opportunity for local residents to learn vital, potentially life-saving skills.

A FREE two-hour Basic Life Support and AED training session will take place on Saturday 21st March, from 10am–12pm at Geddington Village Hall.

The session will combine clear, practical guidance with hands-on experience, giving attendees the confidence to know what to do if someone collapses in an emergency.

Participants will learn:

  • How to recognise an emergency situation
  • The basics of life support
  • How to get started with CPR
  • How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Practical, real-life demonstrations and hands-on practice

The training is open to everyone, but places are limited and must be reserved in advance. To book a place, please contact:

  • sbeckett@gmail.com
  • janet60.jj@gmail.com

In a medical emergency, the first few minutes matter most. Giving up just two hours of your time could equip you with the skills – and confidence – to make a real difference.

Please see the poster below for full details, or contact the organisers if you have any questions.
