Today we’re launching the first Geddington.net Village Survey, which we plan to run twice a year.
It’s a quick and easy way for residents of Geddington, Newton and Little Oakley to let us know how you access local news, what you think of the website and Facebook group, and how we can do better.
Whether you’re a daily visitor to the site, a casual Facebook scroller, or someone who prefers the printed newsletter, your views are important.

What’s it about?
The survey covers:
- How you engage with Geddington.net
- Your thoughts on the Geddington, Newton & Little Oakley Facebook group
- What types of content you find useful — or want more of
- Which local groups and services you’re involved with or aware of
- How we can improve communication across the village
We’ve also included questions about the Facebook group rules, giving you a chance to tell us what works, what doesn’t, and how we might update them.
Why take part?
This is your chance to shape how village information is shared — both online and offline. Your feedback will help us:
- Improve the website and social media
- Highlight the services and organisations you care about
- Ensure news and updates are easy to access and relevant
- Build stronger community links
It only takes 5 minutes
The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and will be open until 31st July 2025.
