- School Parking & Local Policing
The meeting was attended by PCSO Norbert Meszes, who introduced himself and explained the role of community policing in our area. Parking problems around the school were raised — he’s promised to return for next month’s meeting, so stay tuned. - Stonepit Land Leases – Progress & Potholes
Discussions continued about lease agreements for the Youth Club and GVFB buildings. - Electric Car Charging – Still on the Radar
Thanks to input from other parishes, we’ve learned that few are currently offering EV charging – but some are watching our progress with interest. A village newsletter article asked for residents’ views… but no feedback so far. - Trees, Trees, Trees
Safety concerns about the sycamore tree in Skeffington Close were followed up, and a fallen branch in Queen Street has prompted a check on legal responsibilities. Advice is being sought. - A Fond Farewell
The Council agreed to mark the retirement of our long-serving village postwoman and show appreciation for her years of dedicated service.
