More and more people are coming to The Star Charity Quiz!
On Tuesday night, 16 teams were racing to get their hands on the Star Trophy with the pub packed to the roof. I guess it was because the the magnificent honour of holding that trophy for 10 minutes (no longer than that, as the insurance won’t allow it) and parading it on their phones.
This week it was Geddington Goers AGAIN! They are certainly on a winning streak! With 85 1/2 points they were well ahead.
Second equal with 81 points were Stoite Twange and BBJ. BBJ were not distracted by a leak overhead and determined to do well. 4th was Queen Street Runners with 80 points.
Next month’s Quiz is on Tuesday 6th May and is in aid of The Friends Of The Church. You don’t have to belong to the Church to join, you just need to want to help look after the fabric of our magnificent Parish church in Geddington so that we can enjoy events there in the future.
