What a lovely turnout for the Brickyard Garden last night at The Star Charity Quiz! 15 teams entered for the Cup. I can understand why with such an iconic trophy!
The winners last night, with a 15 month hiatus in quizzing achievement, was Queen Street Runners with 88 points. Mind you, they had gathered together a formidable team consisting of a retired dentist, several captains of industry, a hedge fund manager, (sorry I mean a hedgehog manager) and a small boy. A winning combination. Only Nick and his wife were missing. you must have been proud, Nick!! (or gutted).
Second were The Old Bags with 87 points and third was Topical Team with 86. Carol and Co came 4th with 85 and 5th equal was Nerd Immunity and Stoite Twange AKA GADS with 84 points.
Harry and Cam did magnificent work with the raffle and they made £279 for Brickyard Garden Funds.
