In preparation for a new project, Geddington.net would like your help.
It’s been 10 years since the GVFB visited the battlefields of Belgium, an experience that left a lasting impact on me and has inspired a new project we are launching soon. This initiative will honour the memory of Geddington’s fallen soldiers, listed on our Roll of Honour, by recording when members of our community visit their graves and memorials.
Have you ever visited a Geddington Soldier’s war grave?
If you have ever visited the grave of one of Geddington’s soldiers or have any trips planned in the future, I’d love to hear from you. Specifically, I’m interested in knowing who you visited, when you visited, and if you have any photos to share. Your stories and photos will help us bring these soldiers’ legacies to life, showing that they remain in our thoughts and memories.
If I can get enough interest, I will share more details about the project, but for now, please reach out if you have any information or upcoming travel plans related to visiting these graves.
