Congratulations to Motley Crew for winning The Star Charity Quiz last night !! After many, many attempts and loyal Quizzers, you finally won with 83 points.
Queen Street Runners came a close second with 81 points and The Old Bags with 79 points. Last night should have been for Cransley Hospice but the organiser got Covid and so GADS stepped in magnificently.
We raised £180 for GADS which helps in a small way for the production of A Christmas Carol which is being performed later this year. I for one will be booking and I hope others will support this production.
The picture round was replaced, for a change, with 4 letter words which proved to be divisive. Lots of teams were grumpy and complaining but mostly they said it made a change!
Next Quiz is on November 5th and is in aid of The Royal British Legion. The Picture Round is back and will consist of 20 WW2 battle sites.
