We Quizzers are a hardy lot !! Not content with Biblical rain, we had to contend with wet paint not drying in the lounge due to atmospheric conditions .To add to it all, paint was smelling and doors had to be open. I seem to be the ONLY person who could not walk up the 3 steps sideways without touching the bannisters!!
10 teams turned up for The Wild Card Quiz, meaning, whoever won had to choose which charity we had to support this year.
NFN, who won (of course), chose Pancreatic Cancer Research, a very worthwhile cause ,which I would have chosen had I been in a team that won!
NFN had 74 points, Geddington Goers had 72 points and third was GADS with 70 points.
The raffle, which raised £205.00 with thanks to Jane Rowley and Megan Rowley collecting the raffle and Quiz money, Doreen for lots and lots of lovely prizes, John Hobbs for the music and Marcie and Emma in the bar.
Apparently It was a VERY hard Quiz. Sorry.
