‘There is nothing like a dame’ !! At the Charity Quiz last night, it was an extremely noisy affair , with 13 teams and 80 Quizzers . Geddington Tots was the recipients with a very boozy and chocolatey theme! I counted 15 bottles and 6 boxes on the table and a smart watch!! Thank you to Laura , her Mum and friends to do this, because we raised £252.10.
Geddington Tots is an important group which introduces people with new babies and newcomers to the village and helps them settle in. It also has a great cup of tea and cake whilst watching the children play.
Last night’s winner was ……… (drumroll)….. GADS with 88 points. 2nd was The Topical team with 87 and a half. 3rd was NFN with 87 points and 4th Loose Women with 85.
The next Quiz is on Tuesday 24th September and is THE WILD CARD !!
I’m so excited about this ! The winning team CHOOSES which charity they would like to support .
