Rehearsals Going with a Swing!
Geddington.net has been told that rehearsals for the Geddington United Reformed Church’s Musical, ‘Hollywood Musicals‘ are in full swing.
Spokesman, Paul Johnson commented: “With only a fortnight to go until opening night, the final touches are being made to stage what should be, an excellent evening for people of all ages. Not only do we have some exemplary singing of songs from film musicals, but we have comedy, dance and even some poetry. The usual last minute rush to learn lines and get costumes ready, will doubtless hit us during next week, but we are all looking forward to entertaining the village for what is the 26th year.”
Paul continued: “Ticket sales are going quite well, so please book now to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be bought from Helen, on 747906. Those coming to watch give much needed funds to the Chapel, whilst having a good evening’s entertainment. We look forward to seeing you there.”
Hollywood Musicals will be performed at
Geddington’s Village Hall,
Wednesday 25th to Saturday 28th September
The wine bar opens at 7pm
Curtain rises at 7.30pm
